The temperature set on the radiator is actually 6 degrees higher than the actual one. This may not be a problem for most, but we use a refrigerator to ship vaccines that require tight temperature control of 36-46 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperature is set at 35 degrees Fahrenheit, the actual temperature is 41 degrees.

I bought this for my sailboat and the power consumption is impressive although I would have preferred to use more power and actually work. It is around 35 degrees F and has been for 2 days. Can't get deep enough to freeze. I would return it if it wasn't such a problem as I think it's too expensive not to work well but oh well now I just have a better cooler.

Chilled perishables on a Texas beach for 5 days using a 12 volt car battery. The different power modes seem to work well and I decided to leave them on after our trip. Two months later it's still 32F and our drinks are always nice and chilly in the workshop. Not too much heat either, but definitely good ventilation. Fill with glasses and plug into your home before travel. It takes about 4 hours to get it up to 41F. Run overnight on a deep cycle battery charged by a 200w solar panel and even with 4 hours of sunshine overnight in the height of summer the battery will hardly drain. Perfect for my family home. I am very impressed with this device. Highly recommended. Putting a blanket underneath to add insulation works even better. Of course, don't block the vents. Would buy it again with great pleasure.
