The mount for the ATV is strong. It uses a large manual knob to tighten the holder, which is awful and constantly dangling from vibration. I bought two and both had the same problem.

Very disappointed. The mount fell off completely in the first 2 km. I had to fasten my boot to my back to return to hunting camp. I would say this is a terrible design flaw of the product as I have seen several other people post images of the same flaw.

Nice that it goes with several models of Kolpin gun boots. a bit expensive for what it is. It would be nice to have a detachable base so the quad cover fits the quad better in snow, rain, frost and cold. not easy to take off when it came in so unless you use the quad for hunting it gets in the way.

It took me about half an hour to find the spot I wanted and then everything was assembled in minutes. I think it's mounted backwards from the original intent, but I want the narrowest track width and would rather have this mount hit by a log than have my gun or chainsaw damaged. Everything is fine at the moment. Time to hit the road and see how it works.

Bad design, light weight and cheap material. This ATV bag broke on the first day of use. I was mainly driving on gravel roads with occasional potholes, averaging 10 mph, only in low gear when the bodywork detached from the mounts. The body is not stable when the ATV is moving and the plastic is not strong enough to support the weight of the rifle.

It would be perfect if an extension adapter could be attached to the base of the unit. The only issue I've had is that I have a hard time using the rear gear or bag on my quad when it's attached. An extension would solve the problem (even just 2 inches). I use a protective gear bag for this, but accessing the bag from the side of the boot is difficult. This is my second and I am confident in the strength and durability. I trust him with my weapons.

I bought one of these a few years ago, it lasted 4-5 seasons. caught it on a liana and broke it. I am not ashamed. I bought a replacement a few months ago. not worth ****. it fell apart before the end of the season. The plastic mold came loose and the right side broke off. The body of the rifle fell into the mud and water. I bought another one on 01/18/21. If this one breaks it will be the last time I buy this brand. Sorry Kolpin, but cheaper isn't always better for the consumer.

I recently installed this product with the 6.0 case. They force you to use swear words. The mount elevates the gun case quite high, which makes off-road driving interesting. I've encountered a few trees that didn't have the case or mount installed. I modified the case a bit, since there is no support for the barrel of the case, the strut is only made as a kind of glorified holster. The hole in the top of the case does not match the Koplin 6.0 case and cannot use the cotter pin provided.

Holds protective case 6.0 BUT! wobbles a little when driving on uneven ground. Mine is attached to my Honda Rincon 680. I was thinking of making some brackets that attach to the trunk and attach to my fender to make it sturdier and less noisy. One of my hunting friends has a Kolpin 6.0 rifle shoe with a different Kolpin mount (it has a metal loop). and it seems more stable with less shaking and noise.
