Ok but there are small complaints

good quality tape measure I bought for my husband but I think I've used it more than he has. I find it somewhat impractical that it does not engage and retract by itself. Also, it is not numbered like other roulettes. Numbering starts at 1 for each foot, so you need to be careful how many foot markers you pass through to complete the measurement. I couldn't find a numbering anywhere.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • don't remember

It's very good for the price but doesn't compare to Spencer

Bought it first before I got my Spencer band because of the price. However, manual rewinding was tiring very quickly, especially with gloves on. If you're deciding between this and Spencer, I'd recommend saving your money elsewhere to get Spencer. However, if you don't use it often, it will get the job done. To be fair, the film on it is of a much better quality than Spencer's. Because it doesn't have an automatic rewinder, you can't easily wind up the tape. Also the print quality on the ribbon

Pros
  • . Great construction
Cons
  • Vanish

Great 100 foot band for the money.

Love it. You don't often need a 100 foot tape measure and this one fits me when I need it. And for the negative comments about inches that start with each foot. Inches have to be 100 feet? 1200 inches? Think about it for a minute, then take another tape measure and compare. Yes, the thing must be a huge tape, otherwise you need a magnifying glass to read it. Fits in my hand and I don't have big hands. Rolls up well. Paid 7.99 and got free shipping. costs 10 euros no problem. Is it enough for…

The ruler you expect but don't expect!

Technical / periodic review of this product. Upon receipt of this product you will see the following: The body of the ruler itself is 5 inches long, 4 1/2 inches high and 1 inch wide. The actual measurement of the ruler is 101 feet and 8 inches. ADVANTAGES: This ruler is slim which means it can be carried in a pocket or briefcase. The handle is flexible, so the lever doesn't get in the way when you roll quickly. There is no clip which means you must have an extra pocket big enough to fit this…

Exactly what I expected.

This flexible tape measure is exactly what I expected. It is properly labeled and well built for the price paid. Great for home use and hands-on projects, less so if that's what you make a living from. Although for $10 you can bust a pair before moving on to other models. It always seems like I'll need one, but I've never bought one, although my dad always had one of those fancy brands that lasted him for forty years or more. I finally bought one to help me more accurately measure the cables I…
