good quality tape measure I bought for my husband but I think I've used it more than he has. I find it somewhat impractical that it does not engage and retract by itself. Also, it is not numbered like other roulettes. Numbering starts at 1 for each foot, so you need to be careful how many foot markers you pass through to complete the measurement. I couldn't find a numbering anywhere.

Bought it first before I got my Spencer band because of the price. However, manual rewinding was tiring very quickly, especially with gloves on. If you're deciding between this and Spencer, I'd recommend saving your money elsewhere to get Spencer. However, if you don't use it often, it will get the job done.
