📏 Komelon SL2830 30ft 1in Measuring Tape Review

Revain Stock Offer. Someone has used this thing judging by the slight wear on the rubber surface. It works fine. But it was a warehouse deal and I paid a little over $6. I've been using Komelon tapes in DIY and rental properties for the past 9 years. I'm happy with them so far.

My favorite tape measure used to be the Sear Craftsman 25 foot tape measure, which also had a self-locking mechanism. However, the Craftsman had two fatal flaws: the trigger was on the bottom (too easy to accidentally pull) and the size was an odd 3.5 inches. This Comelon is perfect: 1. The clearance is above2. Size 4 inches (internal dimensions are easy to calculate). There are no further claims.

Haven't used it long enough to know if it will last, but seems well made from heavy materials and it's a great tape measure. The tape stays off until you press the button. It has an 8 foot stem when there is no wind. The only downside I've found is that the rewind spring is very strong when you press the button and can break the end of the tape if you pop it. always home. This is just a guess as I don't let it slam - I press my index finger on the band's belly to slow it down.
