Reading this it's surrounded by other one star reviews complaining that the locking mechanism weakens over time and slowly begins to withdraw when it is always supposed to block. That's true, but there is a very simple solution. Lay it on its side with the screws facing up and remove all 3 screws including the one in the middle.
