This is an old type memory card (after Brother printer design) and the price was very reasonable. I thought the card might be a used one from computer recycling. Arrived quickly, well packaged and as advertised. I installed the memory and the printer saw it. The upgrade costs $20 and doesn't speed up the printer, but this memory works just fine. Don't pay $50+ on other sites because it's not worth the upgrade.

I have just upgraded my Brother multifunction printer to 512MB of memory. Before that, I tried to print complex documents with graphics on the printer, and indeed I received a message about the lack of memory. I believe this memory upgrade should fix any issues I've had in the past and since it's such a cheap upgrade it's definitely worth it for an older printer.
