Excellent product, ideal for chloramine treated city water. I buy a gallon because it saves me a lot of money compared to the tiny bottles sold at pet stores. FYI - 1 gallon will last approximately 15 years in a 55 gallon aquarium.

This material is great for water changes. I haven't had any problems with chlorine and my ammonia levels are acceptable. With a 180 gallon tank I use it a lot so buying in bulk is quite a bargain. The only way to know if it works is to look at the results. My koi spawn so are my master test results off the charts. Ammonia At 8 ppm the test is green. My water went from green to blue and has been there for 8 days and is still there. Amquel renders ammonia non-toxic to fish, but it is still registered as present in the test kit.
