I replaced the old rubber bands on my trampoline. I wasn't sure what length of cable to buy, 6 or 9 inches. I removed the old cable and measured it, but it was stretched so couldn't tell for sure. I bought 9 inches, they turned out to be too long (I think it's better to be too long than too short because the length can be adjusted). It's pretty and very easy to attach the tarpaulin with the eyelets. But only for temporary use. These guys LOSE elasticity if stretched for more than a few days.
