I bought this set because we keep losing fly swatters or they break after a while. I was very happy that it came in a multiset. It was fine the first three times I used it, and then it broke every time I used it. Now we've passed FIVE and I've had them less than a week. You definitely get what you pay for with this fly swatter. I'll probably have to buy the more expensive ones individually - at least I know they'll last longer!

If the fly is on a hard surface, almost certainly hit it when it's dead, unless it flies away faster than you can hit it. However, if it's not that hard a surface (towel, something made out of cloth) you might not be able to kill it. I saw a lot of sure hits, but somehow they still flew away. The product is not well made. The first one I used is now broken. Maybe it won't take a beating on concrete, metal surfaces, etc. I'm glad it arrived multiple times - good for backups.
