crap product. Not for precise cuts.

shit. DO NOT use for precise cuts. The idea is great. The execution is not very good. After zeroing the guide before each cut, all of my cuts are offset by about 1/4-3/8 inches. Not only did I spend money on this guide, I also spent $70 on a piece of Baltic birch. Craig should give me back the money for that shit guide and firewood. I suspect this is due to the saw's very weak zeroing mechanism, which is plastic and loose. Not a quality product. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER!

Fast, repeatable, straight cuts with a circular saw

I needed to cut 12-15 sheets of OSB for several projects and this thing worked great for clean, fast, repeatable cuts. a few minutes, but once it's dialed in you can just keep cutting. It's really helpful to have a plywood cutting box to keep your work stable and level as you cut. (If you haven't seen or built a plywood cutting box and are planning a lot of cuts, do yourself a favor and google some plans).

Product Disaster! Don't want curved cuts?

Phew! I was so excited to get the Kreg KMA2685 Circular Saw Guide for 4x8 blade conversion and I've been a furniture assembler for over 30 years but this product is a complete disaster! After careful measurement and my first cut on a $40 board, things went wrong. and from the pictures you can see that the Kreg guide creates a more consistent curved "s" pattern all along the cut? And halfway through, to no avail, I switched blades to see if anything would help. I've now lost $35 on the guide and

Not square the best of saws parts and accessories

just got this yesterday and put it together and thought it didn't look square. I attached it to my chopping block and was able to tell it was about 1/4" wide on the 24" ruler. I've emailed Craig and am returning this to Revane. Love this product and hopefully will the next one will be square I will update when I get a new one UPDATE: I contacted Kreg and they sent me a replacement no questions asked The new one is perfectly square which is what I expected when I bought it Now I'm waiting for…

the thing works - blades

I have to give 5 stars here but I am concerned about the durability of the tool as the guide rail is plastic and is attached to the aluminum scale with 2 screws. However, the thing works. The rip-cut setup is a little fiddly, but the time it takes to figure out the setup and align the dial, slider, and pointer to the guide bar is well worth it. When I was satisfied with the assembly, I ripped out a piece of MDF to test it. The final width of the test piece corresponded exactly to the scale…

Great product, definitely recommend!

I was skeptical about using this product after reading some of the reviews. Instructions are good but can be confusing for those not used to working with power tools. I needed something to cut 4x8 sheets of plywood with for a closet for a project I was making. I also needed it to be accurate and reproducible. After setting up the saw on the jig it was a breeze. As with any saw, you can create "play" in the cuts. But I was able to make all the 8 foot cuts I needed. I was able to get more precise

Good idea, bad execution

The Kreg 24" Rip-Cut Precision Circular Saw Guide is a very good idea, but so-so execution. The saw guide definitely allowed me to cut 11-4 x 8 sheets much faster and easier than if I was using a table saw. However, the cheap plastic construction means the guide doesn't last very long, and the short length of the guide required me to cut a width I don't need for cuts over 24 inches, rather than cutting the width I do. want but need to consider the width of the blade. Also 1. The circular saw…
