Description of Kreg SML C125B 100 Blue Kote Pocket Screws

Square-drive head and self-tapping tip for easy driving without bit slipping, wood splitting. Flat-bottom head and smooth shank draw the pocket-hole joint together tightly. Case-hardened steel won’t bend, snap, or break. Coarse threads for softwoods, such as pine; and for plywood, MDF, particleboard. Maxi-Loc washer head for standard Kreg pocket holes.

Large Pocket Screws

We love these pocket screws from Kreg. They are beautiful and durable and easy to install. No problem removing the heads (because they have a square mount). These screws are a little more expensive, but we think they're worth it.

quality screws in screws

Ideal for connecting plywood or 2x4/4x4 and as blind holes. They can be used externally or internally and are quick and easy to insert without pre-drilling and without splitting. You use a square screwdriver that came with my separate order of the Kreg 320 pocket hole kit. I bought the Kreg 320 because it was cheaper than some others, it can be used to drill 2 pocket holes side by side or one pocket hole by removing make one of the drill guides from the set and can be used with the handy board…

Blue-Kote comes loose

When I tried on the mahogany blank and removed the screws I found that the Blue-Kote weather resistant coating was the most the threads were worn out. Tried again on a different piece of wood, again mahogany, and got the same results. It seems to me that rust begins as soon as the tree gets wet in the rain. It is now possible to see and remove the rust on the screw head, but I have no way of knowing that if the rust is hidden in the wood the screw will fail until the rust stain migrates to the…
