I bought this for a new freezer. I checked this a few times with the number pad I had and it's pretty accurate. Fair price. I would buy another one if I needed one.

My old oven thermometer was spattered with years of grease and when it fell out of the frame I put it back together upside down. When I saw this for such a cheap price ($6) I bought it. But to be honest I use it as a stand for my old one which has even been turned upside down and splattered for an easier read!

This thermometer was over 100 degrees below temperature! I compared his readings with an electronic thermometer. With the oven set to 450 degrees, this unit barely made it to 250. I am so frustrated with its poor quality that I am asking Revain to refund my money and remove it from their website as well. Please avoid as it is a tie if what you receive is defective or not.

Ordered 3 for my home inspection business. After unpacking I put all 3 in the 350 degree oven. You can see in the photo that one of them is about 12 degrees lower than the other two. They're also smaller than expected, which is nice since they don't take up as much space. However, this leaves (optically) less space on the dial. to determine the exact temperature value. Other than that, they will work just fine.

I had to give 4 stars for accuracy as I bought it to know what the temperature is in the fridge and freezer. so I can't say for sure 100%. but it must be damn close. and it takes a while to register the temperature so don't look for a moment having said all that i will say this is a good little thermometer easy to read and works in both the fridge and freezer sits well. I'm happy with that.

I had a hidden suspicion that my oven wasn't heating up well. Sure enough, when the oven beeped that it had hit 350 degrees, this little fella read 250 degrees. Now I have to check the temperature sensor, but that's another day! The only downsides, I wish the hook was more like a clip, when you put something in the oven it knocks the thermometer off the shelf. And when hooked to the counter, it tilts down a bit so you either have to grab it (with an oven mitt, of course) or stand almost on your
