Useful alternative for those who wish they could return back

I like that it's easy enought even an absolute beginner can use, but also has some advanced features (e g., network manager). It works well with KDE applications which are often better than their Windows counterparts or other linux distributions in terms of usability & stability/reliability - especially if you're used from Microsoft products as me! The software center sometimes freezes completely when adding new apps / updating existing ones so try them out first before installing! If your…

Pros
  • It's free and easy to use, easy to install with little dependency issues and the best part is that it works well with KDE applications and looks great compared to other Linux OSes
Cons
  • Not many new apps, it's missing good free office suite, the software center freezes for me a lot

Great OS for New and Old Users alike

I like the fact that it's relatively easy to use, especially if you're new at linux as well as using computers in general; however, sometimes there are problems with freezing up or slowdowns when loading certain applications (such as Firefox). Pros
  • Easy learning curve
  • Very user friendly software for beginners
  • User interface is extremely simple.
  • Software programs load quickly without errors
Cons
  • All fine

I like that it has KDE as its default desktop environment, which makes getting around with programs very easy! Also having all of your applications in one place means you don't have clutter everywhere else when using other DEs (I use XFCE). It can take some time learning how things work but once there are no problems at least not serious ones - then everything works well enough until something new comes along :) There's nothing really wrong about this OS either unless someone knows what they're

Pros
  • Everything is preinstalled for Linux beginners who arenΒ΄ t familiarised yet.
  • Easy to install different flavors such us Ubuntu+KDE4 / OpenSolaris + GNOME3+
  • Lots available distros &amp ; livecds outthere
Cons
  • Nothing
