I love the look of this pastry brush. The wooden handle combined with the gray bristles gives this brush a sleek and professional look. The neutral wood and gray color go perfectly with my new kitchen. I'm very happy with the overall quality, the handle is a bit longer than most and the bristles are great for grilling, wrapping and cooking! The bristles were crumpled in the packaging (see first photo) but as soon as I opened them up and left something the bristles stood up straight!

These silicone pastry brushes are just what you need! They work like a regular bristle brush without the hassle of cleaning. The silicone bristles aren't stiff and glide easily over the food you're spreading. The silicone material also catches liquids (like BBQ sauce, oil makes more mess) so it doesn't drip all over the place. But the best thing is the cleaning. I hated cleaning the bristle brush it seemed like it would never get clean but this tool takes stapling to the next level.

I didn't really like this lube - I have a brush lube and thought silicone lube would last longer and be more hygienic to clean. But the strong garage rubber smell didn't go away even after several washes and a week of inactivity in the air. Not appetizing and probably not what you need in contact with food. The "bristle" is also sparse and unlikely to hold any liquid or sauce you pour over. The wooden round handle has a hanging hole at the end. I'll find a better buster.
