Description of 🎨 Kuretake GANSAI TAMBI Watercolor Set - 18 Colors, Handcrafted, Premium Pigment Inks for Artists and Crafters, AP-Certified, Blendable, Excellent Visibility on Dark Papers, Made in Japan

[18 Colors] Gansai is traditional Japanese watercolor, utilizing colors that are based off those seen in nature, meaning they are vivid and opaque. Pans are carefully filled with paint that is smooth, not granulated, and dries with a slight shiny finish. [Flexible Techniques] Paints do not leave hard edges when dry, making flat-washes easy to accomplish, and are easy to layer with proper technique. [Brush Dexterity] Gansai Tambi Pans are much larger than typical watercolor pans, giving you the ability to use both small or large brushes quite easily. [Palette and Color chart included] Within each Gansai Tambi set is a protective sheet that not only keeps your pans from shifting but can be used as a palette mixer. Each box also includes a color chart so you can swatch the colors yourself and distinguish between them quickly. [Beautiful Packaging, Ideal for Gift-giving] Water-based pigment is ACMI-certified, and packaged in a simple cardboard box with elegant green washi overlay. Perfect for gifts.

Beautiful watercolor mix.

These watercolors blend very easily. I love the big pots and the color choices. The colors are nicely labeled with numbers and color names. Very happy with the quality.

Nice color suitable for painting

I bought it for my husband as a present. He is an aspiring watercolourist. I know the value of buying better quality paint. These are the brightest and most beautiful watercolors. creamy and easily flowing. So much pigment. I love them for myself (I have a larger set) and my husband loves them too.

What I wanted - goods for painting, drawing

I already have a set of 36 paints with which I am very satisfied. It was a great present for me. Friends liked it and bought it too. I've been wanting to buy the flower refills I use the most and I'm running out. I ordered a set of 18 not knowing if the pans are the same size as the original set. They are. I'm excited. Bought one for myself and one for a gift.

Don't miss out on the prize - ideal for professionals.

Amazing watercolors for artists! I've heard so much about other expensive brands and have thought about spending a lot more money. A friend gave me this product to test, which she has already bought. The colors are rich, intense, pigmented and not tinted. I have been drawing as a hobby for many years and this is probably the best paint I have ever used. The magic that occurs when colors mix and mingle (on the expensive watercolor paper they deserve) will enchant you. They can be predictable, or

Cons
  • No performance

I own an Etsy shop that sells custom portraits (SunRatScraps). I chose this watercolor set because: 1. availability 2. the ability to remove, replace and redeem empty pots3. Recommended by JetPens and they didn't disappoint! Good color payoff, I've ridden them and not a single mistake. A good and sensible variety of colors (e.g. the proposed shades of blue also have several different meanings, which prevents constant mixing). Another thing, I successfully mix them: I wet the pan, scrape the…

I love these colors

I posted one of my paintings made with Kuretake Gansai Tambi colors. I used to order the largest set which includes a few metallic colors. Although these colors are not included in this set, the non-metallic colors in this set are bright and beautiful. A lot of people comment in reviews that these colors have a slight sheen after drying, which is true, but that doesn't mean they're bad colors, it's just a certain aesthetic that's a little different from typical western watercolors. As for the…
