It was exactly what I was looking for! The star wasn't too heavy so it only held up well on the top branches of my artificial tree. It's also NOT an LED light, so it doesn't need batteries or anything, it just plugs into an outlet. Exit. I am very satisfied with this product!

I would give this five stars except the first one I bought had a fuse blown within 30 seconds of plugging it into the tree. But I liked it so much that I bought another one and sent the first one back. The second worked great and added a beautiful touch to my Christmas tree.

This is a very beautiful star. It's well done, once we figured out how to get it to stay on the tree it was awesome. It turns out it holds best when screwed to the top of the tree so the needles will hold it in place. First we tried hanging it on our other tree with thin branches and it didn't work, but it worked very well on this little old tree.

This is definitely a beautiful well made treetop and I really, REALLY wanted to like it but my OCD wouldn't let me. It looks more like a snowflake than a star. When I put it on top of my tree, my eyes always think it's not in the middle. What drove me insane was that I kept looking at it with a "V" instead of a dot. So I decided to return it. Maybe someone else can enjoy this beautiful topper.

I've been looking for a treetop for several months and finally settled on this one because I really like the design. When it arrived I found it a little smaller than expected and slightly damaged. The ratio ended up fitting my tree well and I was able to bend one of the sprockets back into shape after it had been bent in transit. I had high hopes for this star and it was not disappointed. At first you may think this is too small, but the scale is ideal for a 7ft tree or less. I would even put it on a small 4 foot tree. This is the perfect medium size. The star itself is beautiful. It has enough lights to illuminate an entire star. In the interests of full disclosure; I couldn't get the coiled wire rod to hold the star securely on the straight top branch of the tree, so I found my husband's wire cutters and just cut it…
