They are very cute, good size. One owl was missing its ears, but that didn't make much of a difference to the outside appearance. A bit pricey for what you get - they would make a lovely gift if the value for money was a little better. If I bought the ones I saw at Walmart earlier in the season, I could get a big owl for half the price.

I was looking for something smaller, but it's my own fault I didn't pay attention to the size. They are quite cute and soft and I didn't have any feathers like some of the other reviewers. However, I'm deducting a star because the eyes don't open like they do in the photo and you really have to get the fur off your face. Unfortunately, the fur doesn't get into the eyes, so you can't see the eyes of any of the owls.

I really wanted to like them. The material covering the owls was very sparse. One of the owls was missing some material on her face and there was no material on the bottom of her ears to cover her ears and you could see the cardboard. I will try to figure out how to cover my ears because I would like to use them again. In general, they worked for my central part. Just don't look at her too closely.

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY! I have purchased (2) similar owls elsewhere that are about 2 inches taller and have great detail and quality - about $4 more for both and free shipping. They look like they came from a dollar store - and they should be $2 for $1. Very poor quality - disassembled into a tiny box. One of them was missing both ears. I would return it but my husband already threw away the whole package :(

These owls are adorable but they are very small, not 5 inches, and do not stand alone as the description says. But they will make cute Christmas decorations. They are very light so they probably won't stand alone. Also, mine had a white plastic hanging wire, but one was already broken. If they get more I won't spend more than $10 on them if you decide to get them. Not worth more if it's just that.
