If only they were made for the front.

I needed this set for the front of my bike. Apparently they don't do it for the front. Having no choice I sanded down an extra 1mm that I had to remove to make them fit. Then I had to drill a bigger hole. If only they were made for the front. Anyway, I did it like I always do

Pros
  • The best in its niche

Flexible assembly and easy installation.

I installed these on my Honda CTX700 and loved that they can be set rigid and tight or left loose. On my bike, the right side is fixed (rigid) and the left side is flexible. This allows me to move the baseplate to the side for easier access to my center stand. Installing them and the Kuryakyn floorboard set is very simple.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works good but needs

Yes it works and what I need for the planks but I still need spacers. I have 2 sets for front and rear. instructions (i don't need stinky instructions haha) luckily the 2nd set had instructions, i had to remove the 1st set because i put the pins in wrong, but still used the homemade spacers i used on mini planks, looks great, no more running boards

Pros
  • certified
Cons
  • I don't really have any complaints about it everything is fine

Better custom fit expected

Missing OEM spring slot. They seem a bit flexible even with the spring steel filling the gap. And the height-adjustable set screw (sets it to your desired horizontal position) has a manufacturer's angle, but it doesn't stay in place. The bike's vibrations will cause them to eventually turn away, causing the pin to sag. I will add my own Loctite and hopefully they will stay in place. Otherwise the build quality is good and the chrome is nice.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Legacy model

Perfect kit for my VTX 1800N

As with others I found the cotter pins provided do not match the stock Honda rear pins which must be reused. However, that was the only problem. These adapters are perfect for mounting mini boards to my VTX1800N. My application required using the included bushings to fit the pins into the adapter hole. I also had to use one spring washer per board to keep them in the up position. Took me less than an hour to install both sides including setup and cleaning. The result can only be happy!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Best Dad Gum footpeg adapters I've ever seen.

Pro: Chrome is very cheap. Slots fix the footrests at the right angle. No parts are missing. Fits right on my '03 VTX 1800s. Durable, will not rattle or dangle. and allows you to keep your bike. Cons: Anyone with a modicum of mechanical know-how can easily install. But if your brain is tired from a day's work, watch the video first. Make sure your hex/wrench is in good condition. I'm pretty sure these are metric hex sizes, but one of the screw holders that holds the adapter in place is a very…
