These latches do not retract fully causing the doors to get stuck. If you use another panel over it it might work, but my doors only use these. I had to open the door to remove it. be very careful

Five stars more for Revain if this part is available for purchase. This is the most common part to fail in a door lock and the ability to replace it without having to go to a big shop or have a locksmith to sell you an unwanted whole, new lock assembly is tremendous.

I'm having trouble opening some doors. Dismantled the handle and it's easy to see the internal latch wear. Easy replacement which is better than buying a new pen. First, a deadbolt for a lockless handle is not exactly the same as a doorknob without a lock, and the two don't mix. I only mention this because I bought the wrong one. I have a lot of doorknobs so they weren't wasted.
