Terrible - Mail is constantly wet, keys are not working any more after a couple of months

Even though our mailbox is mounted underneath a stoop and slightly protected , our mail is CONSTANTLY wet and the mailbox has rusty spots.On top of that, after 10 months of installation both keys stopped working and are of such poor quality that they deformed. Unfortunately this is a big waste of money!

Secure It Well! best in my review

I liked the mailbox itself very much. Didn't have any problems with using it and it looks nice. However, last night someone came by and ripped it off the concrete wall and took off with it. I recommend you secure it with Toggle Bolts, not just anchor bolts, and use sturdy washers inside so it can't be slipped over the screw head.

good lock box on my review.

works great. it's easy to open with the two included locks, the opening to drop things into is good and secure, and it's quite heavy and feels good quality. since it is heavy, it's not easy to screw into a wall alone, but can be done without help.

Perfect size for one household

Everything is great about this lockable mailbox. Only it came with 1 key. Wish had 1 more key with it. I would take 1 star away but the product is excellent overall.

Good looking that’s all

Good looking and sturdy, but is a rain catcher, all letters ruined every time it rains, there is a gasket on the lid but not on the lock door I will try to seal it, if it doesn’t work, will throw it away, don’t waste your money

Exactly as advertised

Text box was awesome exactly what I expected, it was easy to install and it is working great for us. The only downside is the lock can be a little tough to get the key and sometimes

NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE DUPLICATE KEYS

We purchased two of these for our rentals and are not able to find any locksmiths to make duplicate keys. You would think they would supply a standard blank mailbox key, but nah.

  • Super easy to install and looks good! I had to build a mini frame due to placement limitations.

  • Up for 50 days and handle has already rusted , magnet that hold door shut came off.

Spare Keys May NOT be available.

Beware of this product, you may not be able to get spare keys made for it. I couldn't because the 2 locksmiths I went to said that the key blanks that the manufacturer uses are NOT available in California.

NOT weatherproof! in my review

Purchased to use as a note drop and key drop. Contents get wet when it rains. Rust now forming on the hinge causing it to be harder to open and now that it is cold outside it freezes shut after a rain. Do not buy for outdoor use and I don't know what other use you would have for it.

Missing Handle good for me

I ordered two of these. The product works great however one of them was missing the mail slot handle. I contacted the seller and was assured they would send me a replacement handle immediatley. Well, its now been nearly two months and I still have not received it. Customer service is completely unacceptable. If you are lucky enough to have everything included as it should be the product is great. I unfortunately was not one of the lucky ones.

Great for our church

Our church is trying to reduce the traffic in our church office. One of the ways we are doing this, is to use this locked mailbox.

I returned it because it has a bad design. The opening is too small and restricted for magazines and large envelopes. Thanks for attention.

Strong very attractive mailbox.

The combination locks rotation numbers are small and difficult to see and rotate. Maybe if the numbers could be a little larger to allow contrast in coloring.

This mailbox is a mixed bag of issues.

So I got this mailbox and just installed it. Everything works as it should, but there are scratches on it. The metal that hold the door on top up wasnt fully attached and the locking mechanism was shot so I had to make my own. Pretty disappointed with it, and will not be buying another one.
