The table is great for what it's advertised as lol wobbly but ok the instructions seem simple enough but it might take a few tries figuring it out, my biggest problem was that the table arrived crumpled. not critical but a small scratch left a sour taste but not that important as you don't notice them when assembling

Pros: The table is very sturdy and mostly high quality. Cons: Some screws and bolts are not properly drilled. The shelf I received is unusable as each screw (pre-drilled holes) popped out of the veneer which is very disappointing. A bolt on the table had a similar problem. I should also mention that the instructions are accurate but very sparse compared to what was expected.

As many reviewers have noted, this item is poorly packaged, almost every metal or wood surface was scratched or scuffed. If you live in an apartment warn your neighbors before assembling this as it looks like you forged Thor's hammer when assembling this. The parts aren't aligned properly so the gap where the two corner points meet is crooked and also the finish on the front edge has peeled off and I have to tape it back it wobbles from normal typing after all it's not $135 , but it's enough

This table is fine. You get what you pay for. It was really hard to get together. In fact, to screw the top to the frame, I had to put a weight on the desk to keep it from popping out when I tried to screw the screws in. The frame parts did not fit well together and required a lot of effort. Fumbling to finally bring them together. The two parts of the desktop are misaligned. After a thorough search for this type of table and price range I must say that I am very satisfied. Although there were a few glitches with the packaging and such, it didn't affect my opinion of the end result. Here are all the issues I had assembling and using this table: Assembly: First, the instructions are literally useless. As far as I remember there is no written guide and pictures don't help at all. The biggest problem was the bookshelf. SO BAD CONSTRUCTION. Literally all it holds in the middle are a couple of screws that are tightened by turning those little plastic retainers 90 degrees.
