Do not buy ignition parts

Terrible replacement for a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8t automatic transmission. Existing cables are not suitable for this replacement. do not buy Volkswagen for this model

Works Great - Coils

These ignition coil harnesses solved the problem and they work great and look great. But my only criticism is that it didn't include a harness diagram to show the wires for coil 1 and 4 were, so I had an ohm on each wire to know where the new harness was.

  • Cool Product
Cons
  • So far so good

Mandatory for every 1.8T with original suspension

Works perfectly. Images from reviews are used for reference. Only 4/12 of the wires are cylinder specific and can be identified in the close up bra overview. Here is your scheme: 4 trigger wires (for cylinders) 4 ground (brown) 4 pluses +12 volts

High quality suspension, no instructions, no special tools required.

Pros: Good quality wiring harness, good loom and connectors. Cons: No instructions, only 12 terminals for 12 wires (no mistakes allowed). --- See photos for instructions Verdict: If you don't have open-ended pliers, a multimeter, and a basic understanding of electronics - don't try it.

Quality wires and assembly. Highly recommended!

This is the best upgrade you can make to your Audi TT. Forget it...buy and make your own. Be sure to label your signal wires (#3 on each spool) and group all of your grounds coming from your car into the four connector slots. Do the same with the power wires and group them into the four sockets of the connector. The signal lines go into the first four slots (coils 1 to 4) respectively, underneath there are four power lines. The last four slots are your lands. Two in the top row, two in the…

Good harness but no instructions!

This ignition wire set is of fairly good quality and works well but it only comes with wires and connectors. There are no instructions, so you'll have to search online for instructions, or use an ohmmeter to trace the wires yourself. I soldered mine and used heat shrink tubing. It's all pretty simple and not too complicated for the average backyard mechanic. If you need help with the installation take pics before you cut anything and you can go to a site that sounds like E then C then S tuning,
