This transfer case pump upgrade kit can prevent the ever increasing problem of pump rub. Includes : transfer case pump housing + Transfer case adapter gasket at trans + RTV Silicone + Blue Threadlock as the picture shows. Fitment: 1998-2007 GM transfer case(model 136, 146, 246, 261, 261HD, 263HD, 263XHD, 261XHD) . Important : Instruction is no included and Professional install is recommended . Don't waste money.

I bought this improved pump to install during a renovation. The part has too much play around the internal parts of the pump but is too thin and pinches the parts preventing the pump from rotating freely. I contacted the seller and they said to have a professional install it. inserted without problems.
