Printed, not created.

Not very good. They serve their purpose as coasters but aren't pretty. The colorful, high-resolution image of the product is misleading. The design on the coasters was created using a printer and is very generic, boring and common to all coasters.

In terms of beauty, I am very dissatisfied with this purchase. I bought these coasters because they looked good and I was expecting more gold than what they advertise. What I got is opaque, boring and not flashy at all. If you are buying this for looks it is best to look elsewhere.

Slightly misleading promotional photos

Coasters are good and do the job but the product is different from the advertised photo. In the advertised photo they appear shiny and bright. The actual product is matte and matte. One reviewer said it appears as if the marble is the image printed on them, which is a very accurate description. My plan was to have two for my house and two for my office, but I think all four will go to the office and I'll find something nicer for the house.

Perfect Abstract Coastal Coaster

I fell in love! This is exactly what I wanted for my coastal themed decoration. They make me think of the beach, although it's not really a cheap beach picture. The "gold" is actually more of a tan and definitely not shiny or metallic, but in my case it's better. The cork backing is thin enough not to noticeably lift the stand, but still doesn't let me hear the stone grinding or causing damage. It's a good size too. Will be updated if there are persistent problems.

Good base but expected metallic

As for the blue bases, I like that I was able to get them in a set of six. Absorbency: I poured water on one of them and watched him absorb it right before my eyes. It feels dry and the stone gets colder. They are made of cork and appear to be well made. My biggest problem is that I assumed the marble-like pattern was gold or metallic. My camera phone is broken so I can't upload the picture but as many other reviewers have pointed out the stand is a flat matte print, blue like the image, but "gold" is almost non-existent, definitely more tan/pale yellow than close to gold, and absolutely no hint of metal.
