Arrived on time, as described. High quality materials, mostly stainless steel. The water is in contact with the plastic base and hose but is of better quality than most tabletop filters. And I love that I can get regular replacement filters in a standard size for a great price and different types of filters. I recommend this to anyone drinking questionable tap water. This is a great alternative to bottled water.

Installs great, valve is good (would be better if it was a little shorter to reduce tap height loss but it's not bad), flow is great and I like that it uses standard 10 inch filters. Even though a massive amount of water has gone through it retains a lingering plastic taste that is super super gross. If I let it run for 5 minutes before tasting the water it improves a lot but I'm wasting 20 gallons of water on 16 oz. good tasting cup. funny.
