Lamin-x Clear Universal Film Covers - 6x12 Inch Size Review

This is a great article. Nice and tight, well cared for. I used it on my motorcycle to prevent the keys from scratching the paint. Unlimited use!

Used to protect the paintwork of the side covers of the motorcycle that sometimes rubs his wife's heel. Perfect solution! Thick film that is difficult to damage. I used other Lamin-X materials for the headlights and taillights, so it was easy.

Appears to be a bit thicker than some other pre-cut fog light foils. Works perfectly. Protects my glass fog lights from cracks and breaks on the stones on the road. This foil is easier and cheaper to replace than fog lights if necessary.

This direct version does not work. I tried applying it to fog lights which have quite a bit of lens curvature. Lamin-X film wouldn't even stick to it. I've done similar things many times, but it was useless. A complete waste of money. Do you want to know if the product I received was somehow defective?

This stuff is great! Protects my car's clear coat from roof rack marks. The only point of criticism is that the edges rise up over time and the sand sticks to the underside. I removed my first replacement application and was happy to see that it still protected the clear coat well.

I don't have a very large headlight but this product only covers about two thirds of the surface (see picture). I only needed it to cover a tear to prevent water getting in, but if you are buying this product to protect your headlight look for a larger film. The app was easy and I'll update this review after a few months of use.

Disappointed. This foil is as thin as paper! I was expecting it to be the same thickness as the headlight guard. Update: I decided to put the film on the headlight of the F800GSA bike. A very good installation set is supplied. Detailed instructions, ultra-sharp utility knife, scraper and small spray gun. Installation was easy following the instructions and only took 15 minutes.
