I'm a bit old fashioned and I think I prefer the droplet lava lamp. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just made differently than the traditional types and looks more like fireworks from the sky. I think it would be better for a child's room. Lava drops in old lamps are driving one of my grandsons crazy. The light works well and is easy to turn on with the button on the cord reel. Beautiful colors and solid base.

Bought for my niece's birthday. A broken lightbulb, like many others. The filament broke off at one of the connectors. They appear to be using a second rate supplier for their lamps. Instead of sending the whole thing back, I still decided to contact the seller and ask if they could just replace the defective part. radio silence. There are better products and better sellers.

Lots of sweaty smudges on the glass. Spots where the glitter stuck to the glass. And generally the lack of clarity and brilliance. I shouldn't have sent it back, but I'm disappointed. I had to spend some time buffing the glass with a rag to remove the grease from it. But in the end I enjoy the product.

Love it! Just turn it on and it will twinkle and twinkle for the next 10 minutes. It is used for night lighting in the bedroom.
