The part that goes into the Dyson base fits perfectly, not tight, not loose. However, the pieces that hold your accessories fit snugly. This makes them a little harder to remove in my case since my base is behind/next to the dryer so I have to reach it with one hand. I used a sharp tool to loosen the fit up a bit by scraping off a bit of some of the internal ridges and it's working great now.

I like everything in its place and everything in its place. This thing is a must have as Dyson has 2 heads that you switch frequently (carpet vs hardwood floor) and we had to grab it lightly. I installed this in an area with very little space as you can see from the photos. It works! I even pull to rip his head off and so far there have been no casualties! I ordered a Dyson V10 a few days ago, received it the day before yesterday and found I have a lot of loose attachments that will be sitting on the floor or in a bag. So I started looking for a nozzle holder. Revain has some good options but I went with this one because the color matched the existing Dyson mount.
