Lapens Premium Genuine Driving Shoes LPMLFS1587 BL40 Review

I was looking for shoes for my company Christmas party and decided on these men's Lapens driving shoes and they were great, very comfortable.

My blue shoes have received more compliments than any other shoe I've worn before. I love them, they feel comfortable and I can walk for a long time without pain in my legs. I wore them on a cruise and walked around the ship from 4pm to 11pm and my feet still felt great afterwards. If you buy this shoe, buy no-show socks for it, they will keep your feet dry and it will be a pleasure to wear the shoes for a long time.

Nothing on the shoes indicates they are leather. Since the shoes are made in China, I don't think it's a leather product at all. Every legal leather product has a stamp inside the product showing it is genuine leather. I firmly believe that shoes are made of plastic.

Beautiful, super comfortable shoes. Too long, otherwise perfect. I threw away the next size up. I really hope this fits because just walking around the room made my legs happy.

The shoes arrived today and are exactly as described. The shoes are well stitched, all leather with a well cushioned sole. The color is more orange, like in the photo, but nice. They are a little tight after wearing them all day. We recommend half a size larger than most dress shoes, especially if you wear even thin socks. Contrary to some comments the shoes are definitely leather with nice stitching, good value for money and would buy again.

I was not happy with the item and requested a refund. Customer service wasted my time and wouldn't let me return the item. Terrible experience everywhere, they are ignorant. Their customer support is just terrible, stay away from this company.

The shoes are pretty decent except they sent me the wrong color. Ordered blue, sent black. It's not worth the time it takes me to send them back so I'll keep them. A little disappointed.

This driving shoe is smooth. Very comfortable and can be dressed up/down. Well made and fits/size is spot on. I will order from this seller again.

Thin soft skin. Comfortable and sits well. In some places the cord is slightly loose, the ends of the threads are lowered. Otherwise they wear quite well.

They actually felt too big in the instep, which is atypical for my foot. I also thought the material seemed ductile and not very strong.

The shoes look good but run small and shipping took forever - about 2 weeks - cheap enough that I probably won't be returning them - maybe I'll give them to my brother.

I bought similar shoes (slippers) from another brand. I'm sure it's the same just under its own brand name. They're comfortable for walking around the house and sometimes I even wear them to the store. There is no arch support but I always put separate supports in the shoes so it's fine. They are very light, very soft and flexible.

Can I believe you can advertise this as real leather? They call it faux leather, there's no leather in it. Unfortunately I messed it up and didn't get it back in time. Now I'm stuck with this piece of crappy shoes that I can't return.

The insole is literally a thin layer of paper and makes the shoe uncomfortable after 5 minutes of walking (it could be the sole itself).

For the price the shoes are decent. The fit is a little tight, but since I wear an 11 1/2 and ordered a 11 (they don't offer half sizes or a 12), it's as expected. The quality is reasonable and only time will tell how they hold up to everyday wear. Again good for the price. To update. After a few months, the shoe holds up perfectly both in construction and finish. They stretched a bit to fit my foot. I recommend this shoe unreservedly. They might not be as cool as those $300 Italian loafers…

I first wrote a VERY positive review of these shoes. I have saved these comments at the end of this updated report. The shoes were inexpensive and they were VERY comfortable. The problem is that they wear out quickly. Synthetic rubber outsole crumbles. You can see they wear very little but the rubber breaks rendering the shoe unusable. Damn. I like them but a little larger than expected but still very comfortable. I am very happy with them. I think I'll order a size 9 for my next pair instead of my usual 91/2. One good thing is they are great quality for the price and I will be buying more in the future.

Better than I expected! I go barefoot in the summer, but I wanted to wear something to wear in the yard so I would have more support and protection than flip flops. I chose these because they are cheap. Too bad, but they are too good to only be sold by the metre! I will wear them everywhere. Soft and comfortable! I have now ordered another pair (water shoes) for the walk around the yard!

They have everything I'm looking for in loafers. They're simple, streamlined and so comfy! Almost like slippers. No break-in period required. I wear them to the office almost every day and they are perfect. I also walk around town a bit and they seem to be holding up. I have bought several pairs of these sneakers over the past few years to change out over the course of a week. They may not last forever but considering the price I will be ordering more to replace the ones that wear out.
