is very comfortable to wear. They were almost shiny, like patent leather, when taken out of the box. Responded well to a hard coat of brown shoe polish and good brushing upon receipt. Helps soften the yellow making them look "realer" and more matte. also helped soften the enema material. The material is thin but very comfortable and warm (I received the pair WITHOUT wool lining). Runs a little smaller, could have been half a size bigger, but they didn't come in sizes over 12MBe. I am very confident in my choice before ordering as there are 3 or 4 small shoe variations on one side.
