Reviews on this were generally correct when they said the plastic was flimsy. It is, but I'm not particularly complaining about 5.33. This will be until I find one that I really like. About $5 is fine. If you're shopping or on sale at Fry's, you can get the Targus for a few bucks more and get a better cooling pad. I like the LED lights. But they serve no real purpose. Hey I have a Dell Studio 1558 laptop and it gets very hot. So much so that the system responds to heat by slowing down the CPU to avoid damaging the chip. At this stage, good luck with the system shutdown: it's so slow. It took me some time to realize that the problem was actually heat. When I opened the box that this item came in, I was surprised to see a very thin plastic "thing" with wires sticking out. I actually checked the box to make sure I have the item I bought! There was a very thin piece of cut foam that didn't even cover the entire cooling pad and the box it came in looked about a year old.
