I love this thing! We got it for my dog and my mom's dog so when they are out during the day the water keeps refilling without having to keep refilling. The only complaint I have is that if your pet drools a lot (like my Great Dane) you'll need to drain the water from the bottom about every two weeks or it keeps that weird film on the water. and makes it slimy.

I use it for my dogs and cats and it works great. It would be nice if it had some sort of stabilizing arms so it could be placed on the floor instead of being attached to a wall. I stabilized mine with two thin wooden bases under the side edges of the unit. Be sure to use pipe thread tape or the hose connection will leak, but that stops when I put the pipe tape on.

Bought two of these to use in the chicken coop with rain barrels on the platforms as a water source. I should be able to produce at least 3psi from gravity feed, which should be enough to fill those potions. But not a single drinker is filled with a full 50 gallons of water. I took them off, cleaned them and hung them up again and only a drop of water remained. Very frustrating. I think I need to keep looking for something that works.

This is an amazing drinker. It differs from my previous automatic watering in that it doesn't include any equipment; This wasn't a problem for me though as I used to have a 4 gallon automatic float water supply that came with metal brackets for mounting over the fence or on the wall and a female hose fitting.
