I was bored with my old brush because it was difficult to clean and store. I was searching the internet when I came across this ShySwan brush. I love that it's asymmetrical and hits places my old brush couldn't, like around the eyes and nose (I have a smaller face). It even comes with a storage box so I don't have to worry about it getting wet or toothpaste on it (my friend). I will get more to give away!

Because the brush is a custom size, this brush cannot be kept clean. Not even the container it arrived in. There is no way to customize it. I'm afraid of getting this brush dirty because it's very soft. I can use it for light powder but it's nice and again so soft that if you're comfortable or have a light touch on your fingertips this brush is for you.

When I received this brush I was a bit confused by the packaging and not sure how good the brush would be. But I have to say - I love this brush. I used it for my liquid concealer and it's the perfect formula under the eyes. Works great with liquid foundation too, I've even cleaned it up and used it to apply cream. It doesn't seem to take much product at all and leaves it smooth on your skin. I love this brush and even more so for the price! :)

Very soft kabuki brush. The bristles are very soft and evenly distributed. This brush is quite dense so it can hold a lot of product. I like that the handle has indentations that make it easier to grip the brush while applying. The case is also great for traveling. In general, I highly recommend it!

This brush is well made and looks like it will last a long time. I'm only taking off a star because it's too big to fit in the cap of my mineral foundation, but maybe it's just for applying liquid foundation. Due to the shape and density of the bristles, it is questionable whether they will dry completely mold-free. I understand you need a really thick brush for this type of application, I'm just not used to not being able to hang the brush on the edge of something I guess. Maybe with time and…

I love this kabuki brush! Unlike others in the shape of a soccer ball, this one is shaped like a teardrop. My guess is that only one end is tapered and not both ends as the wide end helps to cover wide strokes more effectively. The bristles are also very soft but very dense. I always worry about wasting my foundation if it gets stuck between the bristles, but I don't think that's the case with this brush for how dense it is. The brush is excellent. It has soft bristles but is dense so you get great coverage and won't lose your makeup. It also comes in a plastic case that prevents the brush and other things from getting dirty. I will buy it again if I need a new one.
