I have two similar versions of this one works fine the other doesn't seem to have a temp limiter, meaning it switches does not differ at plus / minus a few degrees from the set temperature. Good heater, but not my favorite. I have several Lasko heaters and this one is good but not the best. By far the best LASKO heater is the LASKO 5572. It is similar to this device but without the problems. This heater heats efficiently and works as expected. My biggest criticism of this device is that its design is not very stable. Updated rating 7/31/2021 Second heater didn't last as long as first. It has also been used in much less harsh environments. In fact, it's indoors, so it's not used that often. I usually set it to Auto with a setting of 60-64F. However, in less than 9 months the engine seems to have burned out. A terrible smell preceded his work cessation.
