I wanted a red timer - red for visibility - to set the time for my writing. I need to set a timer for 15 or 30 minutes. I can do it with an old Radio Shack kitchen timer that has a minute keypad, but not with this one; I have to keep pressing the minute button to get the right time. I love how loud and long the timer runs! I can be 3 rooms away with the radio on and still hear it! It is also multifunctional and can be attached to devices with a magnet or stand on the counter. I give 5 stars except for the design. The back has a foldable stand so it can stand on your countertop, but the stand doesn't allow the back to attach to the fridge with a magnet.
