Lovely medium weight fabric - soft and cosy. The nightgown is very well made. The sleeves are a bit long but ok for a cold winter. The length is perfect for me. I'm 5'3 and 130 pounds female so the dress is about five inches above the ankle. I ordered men's size medium. The only problem is that after washing in cold water and then tumble drying for 2 minutes it has shrunk at least one size! Still fits, but not as loose as I prefer. Ordered the next size up due to expected shrinkage. Fits well after washing. The seam gave way after two washes/wears. The fabric is light, the seams on the bottom are torn. In contrast, my LLBean nightgown lasted almost a decade before finally wearing out.

When I tried it on, 3X was snug on my shoulders and I think the sleeves should have come loose. The material turned out to be thinner than I wanted and the length was halfway between the waist and knees. I can only imagine how it will hold up after washing and I was about to send it back but my girlfriend who is 5ft 5in and 115lbs decided she wanted it. The material must be pre-shrunk.

Marshall and Barney would be proud of this nightgown! Super soft and comfy to snuggle up to my husband. I bought it as an inside joke because of How I Met Your Mother. It turns out they're joking with me because the man likes it!
