Mandatory diagnostic tool

I've used various types of home-made scanners over the past few years, but have limited myself to diagnosing a problem with a specific component. On 2000 and later models you really need a live data scanning tool to activate and verify the operation of the many sensors, solenoids and electronic components used in cars and trucks. Great value for money in code readers and scan tools

This review is for Launch CRP Touch Pro. I'm not a mechanic, but sometimes I buy and sell. Arrived almost fully charged. The unit was new (still in the factory sealed packaging). Upon receipt, I first set up and updated the Android system, which took about 30 minutes. Then I downloaded 2 apps. “Not for the North American market”

I bought this for my 2019 Genesis G80 5.0 Ultimate. That should be the 2020 version. When I tried to use it, it only listed 2016-2018 G80s. I contacted Launch about the software. Below is the response I received from Launch Tech USA. Be careful buyers. Unfortunately, the Touch Pro Elite isn't made for the North American market, so Launch Tech USA doesn't sell or endorse it. Excellent refresh rate, still image and video.

This is an Android operating system, so it's easy to set up. I thought the upgrade was through the computer. But the computer is only for the first charge. It is therefore a pure standalone device.
