I really like this set. I bought it for a guest room and it is very soft. The color is soft and muted, more of a taupe than a light brown. The haircut is beautiful. The pattern is very feminine. The pillowcases are a bit tight - the only reason I give it four stars. It has more white than the pictures suggest and is true white, not ivory. In general I recommend! It's soft and warm enough for my mild climate.

I love this quilt! Ideal weight for all seasons. I agree with the other review that it has a green tint which makes it a very nice neutral. The white background is pure white. Left side rough calico. It's a good weight but the color isn't brown or taupe or whatever they called that color. It has a greenish tint. Not much, but enough that I don't use it as a top cover to be seen. The pattern is beautiful, well made and fits my large mattress very well. I just want the color to be more like a tan with brown undertones. This is a very good blanket for the weight and size. And it's a great blanket for warmer weather, but you'll need a second blanket if you live in a colder climate like…

As other reviewers have said the color is a light sage shade which is what I wanted. It's dark green. I washed it in cold water and dried it on low heat. However, I didn't notice any noticeable shrinkage; I realized the need to pet him quickly. I've done this with a duvet on the bed and it's easy.
