I don't know how these reviewers are wrong, I ordered a large (I have a 31 waist) and the shorts I received were HUGE. Otherwise they seem decent so I'll order a medium and hope for the best.

These boxer shorts fit me very well. Yesterday I put it on for an instant 5 lap run at noon with 3 colleagues, very comfortable. The fabric is very soft and smooth to the touch. Will try the YMCA gym again.

Unfortunately the reviews said to order so I chose Large. I should have stayed with the medium and the fit would have been perfect. Otherwise I was very satisfied with this product.
