I ordered a full size dark blue blanket. The color is not dark blue but a strange light blue. The inner white part feels soft, but from the outside it looks like cheap furniture. I searched and searched (lots of trial and error) to find a blanket that wasn't too bulky but didn't show any dog hair. Jackpot! It's actually one of the softest and warmest bedspreads I've ever had - in fact, I often get hot and open up. However, the best part for me is that I have 3 small spoiled dogs who love to sleep on the bed and I have been trying to find something that doesn't show fur. I read a review on this product that said it was more of a comforter than a quilt. That's absolutely not true. It's a thick blanket, but it's not heavy, it's light. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I like it. This is the softest blanket I've ever had. It's like wrapping yourself in a cloud. It's a wonderful shade of purple and I bought a queen which is more than wide and falls down the sides of my full bed covering some of the dust so it's definitely not too small. I am very happy with it.

We love this comforter but it does have some patches and pillow lining that don't have a soft and crispy feel and those patches are thinner where you can see the support. We washed them but they are still like this. Otherwise we love it. It didn't hold up well over time, pulled and looked worn out much quicker than it should have. I bought this for my son. Upon arrival we found that the Sherpa was different than the traditional Sherpa we were used to. The comforter is thicker than a plaid but not as thick as some comforters. If I had known it was thinner I would not have bought this blanket. He has a CA king bed and the king we ordered for him is very good. It's soft and snuggly, but I had to deduct 2 stars for the following reasons; One is the quality of the tailoring and the other is the quality of the material. There are flaws in the ceiling - it looks like it was sewn on a sewing machine at home by a semi-amateur. The pillowcases aren't sewn evenly and the fabric isn't even cut to the same length (but it's easy to hide inside due to the zipper, which is good).
