LDR Industries 503 2342 Connector Review

This didn't work on my Gerber toilet because it doesn't cover the large plastic bowl that sits under the toilet. After installation it started leaking everywhere and didn't seat properly.

Once I could tell what model of toilet I had the rest was easy. The universal tank gasket is in place and made up the difference with the plumber's putty. Not the best solution. Received the kit I ordered, dry installed it and it was ready in half an hour or less. It pays to use the right product.

We've replaced the entire interior of the toilet and gasket etc with generic parts from one of the major department stores. However, it was leaking. Read a review online that says you need Gerber specific parts for your Gerber toilet and that generic parts don't quite fit. How right. Washer will not fit my Gerber toilet as it is not countersunk to fit the large plastic nut at the bottom of the cistern. The gasket on our old Gerber pressure toilet broke the other day (I'm not sure on the model because the gasket is worn out) causing a real mess in our entire bathroom!
