Do not use at rated load.

It's an easy job sometimes, Jack. Mild steel is thin. I strongly recommend not using this jack to lift the nominal 2.5 tons.

did not survive the weighing

The product did not withstand the weighing of the information in the form in which it is presented, the boat was jacked up, and the jack collapsed and broke. Totally useless and now thrown away.

NOT HEAVY Suitable for scissor jacks

Stabilizing tabs on base bent when jack is used on a gravel road. The base hinge has come loose. Totally useless and very dangerous without a jack built in as a backup.

Works as described.

Worked as described, my trailer didn't lift high enough for my use but the base was strong enough for me to lift on blocks. Very easy to use. It didn't take long enough to solve the durability issue.

Raising the 350Z with a pair of these scissor jacks failed.

Tried to lift vertically on the side and another jack on the other side. The passenger side gave way and slid off the diamond into the pyramid. The base is uncertain. Wouldn't recommend, sorry.

Disappointment. fits scissor jack

This jack is very difficult to lift. It worked once and then didn't lift smoothly with the same load (cargo trailer weighing about 1400lbs. Was very disappointed. Maybe if it had a different starting system. But not worth it. Get a bottle jack..

Take extra care with jacks

For a 5,000lb rating these jacks are very fragile and unstable so the jacks should be bolder and heavier in weight and caliber despite the very wide base, I bought those heavier ones with no intention of increasing their max rating and knowing the potential risks of using scissor jacks I gave myself this buffer twice as much as I had ever planned to lift. These bushings aren't worth the money I paid, about $20 with little use, and I bought two of them, stupid of me. I have other lighter scissor

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but I've noticed a few bad reviews and after reading them you can clearly see that most of them were written by people who don't. t really know what they are doing. If you lift the machine without putting it back on the stands, do not work on your machine.
