🐘 Jumbo Forest Animals Learning Resources Review

I have NO complaints about these animals. They are durable, colored quite well and my 3 grandkids LOVE them. I bought 6 different sets. If you highlight them, they cost about $5 each, the larger ones cost more and the smaller ones maybe less. (What do people want?) We play Ride-O-Ride, using puppet people as riders and securing them with Velcro or rubber bands. It is very funny.

We received 3 boxes of jumbo animals to decorate our first birthday party. Farm animals, mothers and babies, zoo animals and forest animals. They were such a hit. They looked adorable with tiny party hats. Some of the guests liked them so much that they have new houses! They were exactly what I was looking for. There was a chemical smell at first, but after a night of airing they seem to be a lot better.

I have ordered 2 more giant animal sets from Learning Resources (different animals) and the same applies. The animals are good quality, strong and durable, but the sets are expensive (around $30) and the scales on the animals don't match. Moose is the only one of all three sets not to stand up. I order a replacement.

The entire series of jumbo animal learning resources is just wonderful. Realistic looking animals, nice chunky size for little hands. Hard but not brittle plastic: If thrown down a hill, down stairs, etc., they won't break. Whatever plastic they are, they're dense and don't make much noise when animals play with them on hardwood floors. No scratches or dents either. I have five sets now and she loves every single one.

Received these for the Boy Scout program in towns and cities that don't necessarily need to go into the woods at a young age. I would have liked the product to show subtle stitching down the length of the larger animals where the two halves join, but other than that they seem to hold up well to cubs. Durability gets an A, but from an aesthetic point of view I have to give the set a C because thick lines run through the middle of the big beasts, which I think will be the most impressive.
