My 16 month old grandson loves this toy. It's a smaller version of the big one he used to enjoy at the children's amusement park. He plays with him a lot.

Animals do not stay on the gears at all. Gears will be hit or miss whether they stay connected or not. I have to put the animals in the bag to travel with, otherwise they will be lost 😒

my son loves it so much so many things to help him study. It teaches colors, animals and we repeat animal sounds, and he loves to take things apart and weigh them down again. It really keeps him busy in so many ways!

I would not recommend it to anyone and started returning it immediately after a day of use. Animals don't stay on the gears, and the one-year-olds I care about avoided it entirely, despite my encouragement and love for other brands' versions of gear toys. Miss for sure!

Purchased to develop fine motor skills in a 2 year old. Top animals are difficult to put on the gears without applying a lot of pressure, so they tend to fly away or fall to the ground when trying to spin the gears. If you just use it for the gears it's 4 stars but adding the tops makes it 2 stars so I'll split the difference. Maybe they can improve it because I really like the idea and wanted to work on that skill.

My parents have a flowered version of this toy that my kid loves. That's what I expected from this set too. Unfortunately the difference in quality is day/night. Not sure if they made their product cheaper post covid but I wouldn't let my child play with this toy even if it was free. Chipped paint, rough edges, dirt in some pens (straight out of the box), cheap plastic.
