fun and educational!

Great game for young children to develop phonetic skills. My preschooler has a hard time learning virtually so this is a fun family game to help her pronounce word endings and prepend a letter to form a word. My second grader reads in fifth grade but still enjoys this game because it allows him to think outside the box and form longer words. For example, a toddler could add s to ashes, and they would add k and l to ashes. fun and educational!

Good Game - Terrible Rules

The concept of this game is a great idea - the rules are really stupid. I bought this for my 9 year old with dyslexia and learning disabilities and also for my gifted/advanced 5 year old. The game has several orange cards, each with a consonant, and several purple cards with word endings like "-at", "-it", "ain" and "-ail". It's a speed game (NOT a good idea for kids learning to read or kids who need extra time to process information) and the rules tell you to yell "click" or "that" or "up"…

Versatility and adaptability: suitable for children and seniors

As an experienced nanny, nanny, tutor, substitute teacher and aunt, I'm always looking for fun games and activities to sharpen my mind. I used this game with an elderly man with dementia and it helped him focus, exercise his speech muscles (including spelling and word recognition and memory skills), made him think of options, gave him a way to interact with other people, and distracted him from negative thoughts. The guide includes several variations of normal competitive play that are fun for…
