I have it as a gift to myself. The only thing I was slightly disappointed is that the pen does kinda hurt when I put it in my back pocket. I can feel it every time I sit down. I’ve always kept my note pad in my back pocket but now I just keep it all in my front. An awkward transition but that’s it. Otherwise, it’s a great gift to anyone who loves leather, and likes to carry around a note book and pen. This will last a long time.

I love my Moleskine. I keep it in my back pocket everywhere I go. I also keep a wallet in the other back pocket. Now I only need one. Fits perfect with the Moleskine. Keeps all my stuff from my wallet neat and organized. Love the leather too.

This cover feels and looks great. The only issue that I have is that my top business card got stained from the leather pouch. (Top as in the top of the stack). The pen holder works very well with the variety of pens that I have stored in it so far and the field notebook that I purchased alongside of it fits well and stays in place. I use this at school, work, and other events.

This did not come with a notebook as other purchases have. When I tried to insert a field note, the back cover of the notebook crumpled because it would not slide into the pocket.

The description makes this item seem as though it was made by artisans, so authentic and genuine. When in reality its just simple leather flaps stitched together in China. Looks nice, is priced well. But just really simple. It's not a work of art by any means.

Well, it's what I paid for. A leather cover for my field notes note pads. It's got a pen sized loop that holds a variety of pen sizes, just don't try to use a Bic after having a Sharpie in there. I thought this was gonna be larger. I missed judged the size but I've been living with my mistake and I couldn't be happier. This little leather journal is great, fits in my back pocket, and fits my pen with ease. I've been using this daily since I got it. I don't journal, I just use it for notes and my lists. I carry this around with my iPad and galaxy.

I bought this for my dad. He really likes it. Keeps his notebooks from bending/fraying. He had trouble buying a pen that would fit. But other than that, it seems to be everything it advertises.

What can I say? It's a leather notebook cover. The recommended inserts are perfect. The pen holder works great with the mechanical pencil I purchased to use with it. The leather is a good thickness so I'm not worried about tearing. The stitching has held up excellently. Regular/daily use is distressing the exterior, but to my mind that just adds character. I have no complaints and I'm very pleased with this item.

This notebook is nice leather, well-made with sturdy stitching. It's a great size for Moleskin Cahier notebooks. I wish those notebooks had more pages, as the leather cover could accommodate a thicker notebook, but that's not this product's fault. It works well with the clicky model of Fisher Space Pen, as it's a bit slimmer than the bullet model and won't protrude from the top. Nice quality but it won’t close with a pen in the pen loop. Design flaw.if the loop was in the spine of the cover it would close with a slim pen/pencil but not where it is currently attached. Still nice and useful but not what I hoped for. I will have to modify it to use it the way it was advertised and designed and that’s not what I’m paying for.

first of all this is so beautifully made.the fit and finish is excellent and the price is decent.I noticed some people bashed the pen loop design and after purchasing it, I see what they mean.so, basically if it was just a tiny bit longer, it would've reached the end of where it folds, and the pen would've been out of the way of the pad and wouldn't bulge as bad.but this comes down to a matter of preference. if the loop thing doesn't bother you, I'd say this is a great buy.
