Excellent Tool for Leathercraft

This leather splitter skives leather smoothly, making it perfect for every Arts and Crafts enthusiast who requires precision in their projects. Through trial and error, I found that the tool requires smoother and thinner leather pieces to work more efficiently. Pros: Durable and sharp enough to slice even the thickest of leathers. Cons: It takes a few tries to get the amount of pressure needed to create the perfect thickness. Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking toโ€ฆ

Requires assembly, good value for money, does the job

I don't mind assembly so it was easy for me. I didn't have instructions on how to use it, but I think I figured it out. It's way cheaper than any other machine I've seen for cutting leather edges.

Terrible experience. Not what I expected.

In general, the product is not worth the money invested. Razors are cheap and flimsy. I bent two razors and tried to split the skin. The design is good and easy to assemble. However, the skin is difficult to split. You need to make a few adjustments. I'm not sure if I can get it back. If yes, then I will try. It is better to use a stationery knife.
