I love the ratchet fit but the buckle scratches too easily and isn't durable.

This belt looks great at first glance, but the buckle scratches very easily if rubbed against a hard surface like a counter. I've only had mine for about two weeks and now it looks awful rubbing against the counter where I work. The ratchet style fit is very good! I would only recommend getting this style with a regular buckle.

good Men best in Belts

I have never used this type of buckle before and decided to give it a try. All of my other belts have always broken at the buckle clasp long before the belt needed replacing. The ratchet buckle that comes with this belt is easy to use and it seems like the belt holds up much better and looks 'fresh' longer without the creases that are just part of life with 'regular' types of buckles. beautiful clothes, shoes and jewelry

Exactly what I expected - perfect for my intended use which is to wear once or twice a week when traveling and studying with a good pair of trousers. It was very easy to adjust it to my size choices. (The size range of the belt after trimming is enough for a big party.) The buckle is strong and the belt is thick enough not to twist or create a "belt loop bulge". This is great value.
