The buckle can be easily removed (using the lock on the buckle) and trimmed to fit. Measure how long it is and cut it off at the end of the buckle belt. Cut the knot as shown on the cut off part. I shortened mine in about 10 minutes. I took my time and measured myself and noted the extra length, then removed the buckle and measured the distance on the strap with a single bladed razor.

I liked this belt for a long time and I wore it almost every day. While I was pleased that the leather didn't crack around the belt holes, the surface of the leather wore off fairly quickly in a few places, which didn't look very good. The final nail in the coffin was that yesterday the buckle pivot broke rendering the belt unusable.

I waited a bit before reviewing this item to see how the belt would hold up to everyday wear. So far, so good. No obvious signs of wear and the belt looks very good. Recommend.

I have bought many belts over the last ten years and they wear out after a few years. I have high hopes that this belt will be just as strong.

I was skeptical about buying belts online. I've found that those sold in department stores have greatly decreased in quality. So I searched here for "full leather" belts. I've bought several - this is one of the 6 I've received recently. And this one didn't disappoint. It is very beautiful, stylish (for a business and business suit) and very expensive. This belt is garbage. I bought it in December and in March it broke with normal wear and tear. There is no way to return as the return window has expired. Find another belt and another manufacturer.

Lately I've had trouble finding strong and beautiful belts. The ones I've bought over the past few years never last that long. I think this one will be different. I received this item after ordering it 2 inches longer than my waist and it was still too short. The belt was good quality and a great price but I had to return it due to the size. I would have exchanged it for a larger size but I found a similar product at Revain for half the price so I bought this instead.
