I received an empty case

I received an empty case without circuit board and mounting screws. The box looks like it wasn't new from the factory so I'm guessing it was a return that was resold. I bought LTECH R4-5A controllers from China and they work great, but this unit sold by Revain passed the quality test badly.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not everything fits

White channel is darker than others

works well with DX8 Touch Controller. However, for some reason the white channel is much darker than the other 3 channels. I'm not sure why. When I re-patch, every color I put into the white channel of this controller is much darker than the other three. I need a good RGBW controller that will work with my LTech DX4 touchpad controller. I'm open to suggestions.

Pros
  • Normal Price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Do not buy as recommended by Revain

According to Revain, this is often purchased with an RGBW T4 8-zone remote. I clicked to add both to cart. I also picked up a long roll of RBGW lights and a power supply for the game. After not being able to sync for 30 minutes, I checked reviews and videos online. It turned out that this is not compatible with the "often bought together" remote control. And just found out that compatible receivers cost more too.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works great but noisy in low light.

They are very easy to combine with Ledenet DX5. Functionally they are perfect. However, they emit a high-pitched tone when their brightness is less than full brightness. I assume it has to do with the pulse width modulation dimming method. I have two of these devices and they both make this noise. If I had to do it all over again I would just plug my strips into a switched outlet. However, it was nice not to run any wires from the switch to the lighting.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So-so

horrible quality and unreliability

Great idea, terrible execution. If you're looking for a reliable and relatively bug-free controller, don't use this product. While expensive, it should be easy to set up, and once you set it up, it should be reliable. Did you notice that the description doesn't mention what the app actually is? Because the app is garbage. No timers, old architecture, poorly thought out UI/UX. I don't want to give it back because it simply belongs in the garbage.

  • Large selection
Cons
